Communications support to support the European Commission’s Pact for Skills
Project duration: February 2022 – June 2026
Promoting upskilling and reskilling across Europe
Our strategic services
We lead communication efforts to promote the Pact for Skills, the EU’s flagship action aiming to support public and private organisations to upskill and reskill their workforce.
We lead all communications work around this highly valuable initiative, producing a tailored communication strategy, launching the Pact for Skills website (2022), crafting stories, news items and social media content showing skills action on the ground and supporting the Commission to reach out to potential members. We also developed a bespoke visual identity which was rolled out across all visual materials, including those produced for large-scale events.

Our top picks
Social media: management of the Pact for Skills LinkedIn group
We set up and manage the Pact for Skills LinkedIn group, which has amassed over 2,500 members. The group is a key community platform which informs members of new policy initiatives and news, as well as allowing users to post their own content and inspire each other.
Pact for Skills sessions at the EU Employment and Social Rights Forum
We organised dedicated Pact for Skills sessions as part of the EU Employment and Social Rights Forum in 2026. Our work combined logistics with promotion, using the event as an opportunity to promote the Pact for Skills through online promotion and on-the-spot content gathering. Our team attended the event on site and captured key moments from speakers and panellists, producing three short post-event videos for social media.
The European Year of Skills Festival (2023)
In 2023 we organised a unique event titled the European Year of Skills Festival. The event was an innovative virtual event live streamed via the European Commission’s YouTube channel. Since it was first streamed, the event has been viewed over 7,000 times. The event connected speakers and participants from across Europe with policymakers, showing action on the ground and how organisations and people are contributing to improved skills development.
Developing, designing and launching the Pact for Skills website
We developed, designed and launched the Pact for Skills website from scratch, building the website through the European Commission’s corporate platform and incorporating the Pact’s visual identity. The website acts as a central platform connecting key stakeholders and skills practitioners with the Pact and the Commission, bridging local action with policy. Highlights of the website include dedicated pages for Large Scale and Regional Skills Partnerships and dedicated sections to promote members’ skills stories and achievements.
