Our strategic services

Ecorys is leading the management of the European Climate Pact Secretariat on behalf of the European Commission’s DG for Climate Action. Our team has developed and is implementing a comprehensive communication and content strategy to raise awareness about climate change and encourage people to take climate action. This includes yearly pan-European communication campaigns utilising a mix of owned, paid, earned, and shared channels, media partnerships, the organisation of online and on-site events, and the creation of the EU Climate Action Academy. Alongside pan-European communication activities, we coordinate 27 PR partner agencies (one per Member State) to drive media outreach on the ground.

Infographics

We have produced the backgrounder, ‘What is the Climate Pact’, as a useful document to help share the message of the Pact. It is available in all 24 EU languages to help inspire wider networks to take climate action across all EU Member States.

Videography

Videos and GIFs have been key asset types to support our social media and web content. We have produced engaging short videos showcasing the Climate Pact community and citizen engagement activities. Our production team has travelled to Pact events to collect raw footage for us to use as evergreen content throughout the project’s duration.

UX design, web design and management

We’ve rolled out a phased approach to enhance the overall look and feel of the Climate Pact website. We’ve focused on architecture updates, content migration, and the design of new pages in the first stage. Our approach also includes SEO optimisation, an internal linking strategy, and a user satisfaction survey, all underpinned by regular content updates and analytics tracking.

Presentations

Our team has put together effective PowerPoint presentations to inform and equip the Pact Community with useful resources to motivate their own networks. Making presentations available in all 24 EU languages has proved key to reaching communities on the ground and getting people from all walks of life on board.
